Di Maria was one of the outstanding performers in Carlo Ancelotti's Champions League-winning side last season but his future at the club is under threat following the marquee signings of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez.
New Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is an avowed admirer of the 26-year-old and the Red Devils agreed personal terms in principle with the player over a summer move to Old Trafford earlier this month.
But PSG have since become the frontrunners to sign the Argentina international due to their superior financial resources and the offer of Champions League football, with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi reportedly holding talks in Madrid with the Spanish giants.
When questioned, however, Blanc was unwilling to shed any further light on Di Maria's transfer.
"I'll leave you to speculate," he told reporters. "At the moment nothing is done.
"Are there negotiations? It's not for me to say, but for the board of the club."
Despite Financial Fair Play sanctions, PSG have already splashed out €50 million to bring David Luiz from Chelsea and on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Serge Aurier from Toulouse on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy.
